Janet Choyce, Owner and Certified Meeting Professional
Janet Choyce has traveled extensively across the United States and internationally. As an event coordinator, or special guest, she feels extremely honored to have met and served so many wonderful people from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and faiths. Over the years, she has organized and managed numerous concerts, fundraisers, special holiday events.
In April 2016, Janet managed for Urban Warriors a 3-day event at the sophisticated Radisson Hotel Denver Southeast with 100 event attendees. She negotiated banquet space, meeting rooms and hotel stays. Her responsibilities included hiring an Event Production Team to provide state-of-the-art audio-visual, video projection, lighting equipment and additional services. Charter services were contracted to transport the attendees offsite to a delectable caterer lunch held at The Downing House, located on a tranquil secluded property in Cherry Hills Village. The event concluded with guest speakers, local civic and faith-based leaders with a formal banquet dinner and entertainment. Awards were given to honor the ground-breaking work of the Pioneers and Warriors over the past 50 years.
In addition to her Bachelor of Science degree, Janet has also received an Events Management Certification from the Hospitality, Tourism and Events Department at Metropolitan State University of Denver. In August 2017, Janet successfully completed the exam requirements to achieve the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from the Events Industry Council, an international designation recognized throughout the events industry.
